Oh, and that's another thing, Scott and I had a nice 3-day get away to the mountains and I, well, WE dropped our camera in the beautiful Laurel Falls that we hiked to see. Yes, that was a bit distressing and as I walked away, totally disgusted that not only had I dropped my beloved camera into the freezing water but all of my pics were ruined, I wondered, "why has this happened?" It was at that very moment that God revealed something to me . . . . . . it didn't really matter that we had ruined our camera and would most definitely be spending money on a new one. It may sound odd for me to say that it didn't matter but really, did it matter?? I mean, there I was, hiking the Smokeys with my husband . . . . . its takes health to be able to that. Health that my husband and I both are fortunate enough to enjoy. Now I'm not saying that either of us is a "picture of perfect health" or anything, just that we are, by the grace of Almighty God, free from delibilitating or life-threatening illness. More importantly, our precious 2 year old was safe at home enjoying some wonderful bonding time with her most beloved Mimi. And she, too, is currently enjoying abundant health. That said, our little camera, in the grand scheme of things, wasn't really that big of a deal after all. So, right there on our hike back down the mountain with a wet and dripping camera, I took a moment to thank God for the abundant blessings in our lives!! And yes, we now have a new camera so not only am I navigating my way through the new computer, I still need to spend some time familiarizing myself with the new camera as well. So, I promise that pics will come, sometime in the near future!
There is much, much more to share about our lives and what has been going on since my last post but at present, its almost 10:30 at night and, well, I'm getting a bit sleepy so you'll just have to wait!
I will say that much has transpired and much in on the horizon for our little family of 3. All of which we are incredibly thankful for. God has blessed our family and we desire to be a blessing to Him as we continue to seek and serve Him!
Its with a thankful heart that I say Good night!
Angela
